Dustin signed a 3 yr exclusive contract for his forthcoming EP to be released over the next few months by Musik and Film Records.

Dustin is playing in Rick Springfield’s new movie, An Affair of the Heart. Rick says of Dustin, “I’m honored to be part of someone’s life like that”. We will be seeing a lot of Dustin!

Recent press has quoted “Dustin is a heart throb waiting to happen”.

As I worked on this list, I found there was a rather radical difference in mood and temperament to the selection, as opposed to the Album list.. Pop and the so called ‘mainstream’ perked their goofy heads up more than once. A lot of Indie Kids would frown at this, but to me, there is probably nothing harder in this world than writing a good song for ma and pa and their 2.5 children to sing along to on their way to work. That doesn’t mean I have left out the eccentric and the noisy, they are here too J and this list was WAY harder than even the Album chart as at least a third more Artists that submitted work to us this year didn’t have albums, just a song or two, so much more to sift through and find the true gold.

Tamika Kaspar Signs Exclusive Record Deal with US Label Musik and Film.

Talented 18 year old Tamika has signed an exclusive three year production, distribution and promotion deal with US based Musik and Film, Inc. Tamika’s first EP will feature original songs composed by Tamika or written for her by Musik and Film’s multi-talented production team of Stephen Wrench, Jon Wilkes and Terry Nails.

The 5 track EP will be released digitally by the Orchard with 7000 retail outlets in 243 countries. World-wide physical distribution will be done by The Orchard/Sony. Musik and Film plans to push all five songs from the EP to over 15,000 radio stations in 60 countries through their exclusive in house Musik Radio Promotions.

Production is slated to begin in December of 2012. The EP will be released to the world in Jan of 2013. Jon Wilkes of red Jump Suit Apparatus says, “I recently finished the Warped Tour and know if Tamika was on this tour she would have been overwhelmingly received. Tamika has a great voice and delivery and is sure to become an international success!”
