Justin Murta is an American DJ and Music Producer.. and one of the most electrifying live DJ’s in the world! He is best known for his live DJ sets and MC work in South East Asia. Over the past 13 years, he has amassed thousands of fans, followers and subscribers and had the opportunity to perform for millions. His collaborations include celebrity music artists such as: Cee Lo Green, Armin Van Buren and Macklemore and has performed in 34 countries on 5 continents.
Justin began his musical journey as a violinist and has made music his focus. In 1999, he first began his professional career at Rainstorm Studios in Seattle.  By 2003, his HipHop group “the Rebelz,” rose to local fame after winning the Seattle Emerging Artist Award, were nominated for many of Seattle’s Mayor Achievement Awards and were featured on programs and publications including: NBC’s HipHop Nation and West Coast Performer Magazine. Their notoriety propelled them to create the “HipHop Handbook” series, in which he produced and toured for several years.
While on tour in 2009, he was invited to work on a featured television show, HipHop Central in Vietnam. There, his success garnered ambassadorship for several major name brands like Converse, Heineken and Smirnoff Vodka. His headlining shows packed stadiums and outdoor festivals across Indochina for nearly six years. In 2015, he returned to the United States to work on his personal music production and simultaneously found fortune in niche DJ scenes including K-Pop, Future Bass and Latin Music Events.
In the past few years, he has built a relationship and following with RAW Artists, and mentors aspiring artists to make their passion in music a reality. Currently, he is a resident DJ for King 5 News in Seattle and The DJ Sessions on ITV. May 2020 he released his debut album “Fairytale.”
